📖 Verse of the Day

Reflection:

“I was thinking of you.” It’s such a simple thing to hear, yet it can brighten a whole day. Nothing else has changed, but someone remembered you, and somehow everything feels a little lighter.

Long ago, David looked up at the same moon and stars that still fill our night sky, and he could hardly believe that God would remember people like us: “what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?”

Next to all those stars, it’s easy to feel small. But you are not small to Him. There are more stars than anyone could ever count, and not one of them has ever crowded you out of His thoughts.

If it’s been a while since anyone said they were thinking of you, let this be the morning you hear it from Him. He was thinking of you before anyone else ever did, and He hasn’t stopped since.

Ask Yourself:

• How might my day feel different if I remembered that God is thinking of me?

• Who could I surprise today with a simple note that says I was thinking of them?

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Dear God,

How wonderful it is that You would think of me at all. The moon and the stars are the work of Your fingers, and still You care about me and every part of my day. Thank You for keeping me in Your thoughts, even when I forget to keep You in mine. Please help me walk through this day knowing I am never forgotten, and tonight, when I see the stars, may they remind me how loved I am.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
