🌞 Good morning,

This Sunday, let’s begin with a quiet assurance: the God who knows the way is holding your hand.

Have a blessed Sunday.

📖 Verse of the Day

Psalm 73:23: Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. Centered white Scripture over a quiet woodland path.

“Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.”

Reflection:

Sometimes a hand says more than words can. A quiet squeeze across the table, or someone reaching for you before an uncertain step, can say, “You’re not facing this alone.” Asaph gives us that tender picture of God. He has just admitted how bitter and confused he has been. Then comes one small word: “Yet.” Even there, he can say, “you hold me by my right hand.” God’s nearness is not something he has to work his way back to. He discovers he is still being held.

We often think of faith as our effort to hold on to God. This verse turns our attention to the hand holding ours. We can bring Him the question we cannot settle and the next step we cannot see. We can enjoy the good in today without trying to secure all of tomorrow. As this new week begins, let that picture stay with you: your hand in His. You are not taking the next step alone.

Ask Yourself:

  • Where do I need to remember that God is holding me as I take the next step?

  • Who could feel less alone today because I take a moment to reach out?

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Dear Lord,

Thank You for holding my hand, even when I’m too caught up in my thoughts to notice. You know the questions I carry into this new week. Help me bring them to You instead of trying to work everything out alone.

Teach me to trust Your guidance one step at a time, and to enjoy the good You place along the way. As You steady me, help me be a gentle, reassuring presence for someone else today.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🎵 Worship Song of the Day

“Belovedness” — Sarah Kroger

Let this song help you rest in who you are to God, rather than in how steady you feel today.
