📖 Verse of the Day

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”
Reflection:
Some family Bibles have a special page where names are written by hand: births, weddings, baptisms, added over the years. A grandmother’s careful cursive. A father’s quick, slanted letters. Every name on a page like that is a story of God’s faithfulness.
That’s the promise in today’s verse: “his faithfulness continues through all generations.” The love that held the people who came before you didn’t stop with them. It reached all the way down the page to you.
If you’re the first in your family to follow Jesus, you’re not left out of this promise. His faithfulness is starting a brand-new page with you, and your name is just as precious to Him as any name before it.
And it won’t stop with you. It reaches the ones who come after you and every person you’ve ever carried to Him in prayer. Even the lines on that page that haven’t been written yet are already held by a love that endures forever.
Ask Yourself:
What is one way God has been faithful to me that I never want to forget?
Which child or grandchild, friend or neighbor could I pray for by name today?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Dear Heavenly Father,
So often I come to You with a list of needs. This time, I just want to say thank You. Thank You for being so good to me all these years, for every answered prayer and every small mercy I never noticed. Even on the days I wasn’t faithful to You, You stayed faithful to me. I love You, Lord, and I’m so blessed to belong to You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🖋 Quote of the Day
“The greatest legacy you can pass on to your children and grandchildren is not your money or the other material things you have accumulated in life. The greatest legacy you can pass on to them is the legacy of your character and your faith.”
