📖 Verse of the Day

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.”
Reflection:
Maybe someone who loved you used to stand on the porch and wave as you drove away. You could still see them in the mirror, waving. It was their way of going with you as far as they could.
But we can only wave until the car turns the corner. God gave His people a blessing in words He chose Himself, asking Him to keep them, to turn His face toward them and to give them peace. Then He promised, “I will bless them.”
When it was time for Jesus to say goodbye to His friends, He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Then they went back to Jerusalem “with great joy.”
Because of Jesus, that blessing is yours, too. It doesn’t stop at the corner. It goes with you into every part of this day, and all the way home.
Ask Yourself:
What part of my day would I love to ask God to bless?
Who could I pray this blessing over today?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Father in Heaven,
Thank You for wanting to bless me, and for meaning every word. It’s such a comfort to know Your face is turned toward me wherever this day takes me. When the road ahead feels long or uncertain, I’d love to walk it in the light of Your smile. And may the people I love feel Your blessing, too, right where they are.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
