📖 Verse of the Day

“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Reflection:
The appointment we’ve been dreading. The house that feels too quiet. The worry that wakes us before the alarm. Most of us carry something into this day, and it’s easy to feel like we’re carrying it alone.
Jesus knew His friends would feel that too. So the One who holds “all authority in heaven and on earth” ended His final words in Matthew’s Gospel with a promise: “I am with you always.”
With all that authority, He didn’t promise to watch you from a distance. He promised to stay. With you in the waiting. With you in the quiet house. With you in the ordinary minutes no one else sees. Always.
So whatever you’re carrying today, you don’t have to carry it alone. You don’t have to feel strong. You don’t even have to feel Him near. He said always, and He meant it: every room you walk into today, He’s already there.
Ask Yourself:
Where do I most need to remember today that I’m not alone?
Who in my life might need to hear that God hasn’t left them?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Dear Lord,
Some days I feel alone, even in a room full of people. Today, I want to remember that You are right here with me.
Thank You for promising to stay with me always, through every kind of day. Please help me notice You in the small moments, and lean on You when I’m afraid.
I can face this day, because I know I’m not facing it alone.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
