- 🙏 Verse of the Day: Isaiah 53:5

🌞 Good morning,
This morning, let’s think about everything Jesus took on for us. Every bit of it was for you.
Have a blessed day.

📖 Verse of the Day

“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”
Reflection:
Every hard word in today’s verse lands on Jesus. Every good word lands on us.
It should have been the other way around. “We all, like sheep, have gone astray,” Isaiah says. We were the ones who wandered off, and still the Lord laid all our sin on Him.
He was willing. He was wounded. That’s how loved you are.
Every sin, big or small, went to the cross with Him, and that includes yours. There’s no punishment left over, waiting for you. It was all on Him.
Isaiah also says He “made intercession for the transgressors.” He prayed for people like us, the very ones who had wandered. And the One who was wounded for you is still praying for you today.
There’s healing here too. Whatever sin has broken, Jesus can mend, and He doesn’t stop halfway.
The wounds were His. The peace is yours.
Ask Yourself:
What does it mean to me that Jesus chose to be wounded for me?
Which part of me am I glad Jesus isn’t finished with yet?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Father,
Thank You for Jesus. Thank You for His willing heart and His wounded hands, and for every prayer He has ever prayed for me.
Teach me to trust what He did more than what I feel. Let me come to You with my head up, just as I am, because of Him.
Thank You for the peace He made for me, and for the healing that comes through His wounds. I’m so glad to be Yours.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
🖋 Quote of the Day
“The gospel is this: We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope.”
— Timothy Keller
