📖 Verse of the Day

“but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Reflection:

We can be grateful for our lives and still need strength to live them. We can love the people who depend on us and still need a moment to breathe. A tired heart is not an ungrateful heart. Sometimes our most honest prayer is simply, “Lord, I need You.”

Isaiah answers with a promise: those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Picture an eagle soaring, its wings open to the air that carries it. We don’t have to find every ounce of strength within ourselves. We can turn to the One whose strength never runs out.

And His promise makes room for walking, too. You don’t have to feel as though you’re soaring for God to be sustaining you. Sometimes His strength is the patience to love, the courage to begin, or simply enough for the next step.

Today, bring Him what’s tired, without pretending you have more to give than you do. The God who never grows weary has not grown weary of you.

Ask Yourself:

  • What am I carrying today that I need to bring to God honestly?

  • What help or rest could I gratefully receive today?

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the days You’ve brought me through when I didn’t think I could manage. You know what today will ask of me, and I’m grateful I don’t have to face it alone.

Renew my strength and lift my eyes to You. Give me patience for the people I love, courage for what needs doing, and peace to rest when I need to.

Thank You that I can come to You again, knowing I’m always welcome.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
