The God who sees you.

Today’s verse comes from a woman most people skip past, and it gives us one of the most tender names for God in the whole Bible. Let’s start this Tuesday by hearing it.

📖 Verse of the Day
“She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.””
Reflection:
Have you ever felt invisible? Not hidden, just overlooked. You keep showing up, carrying what’s yours to carry, and nobody seems to notice.
Hagar knew that feeling better than most. She was a slave, pregnant, mistreated, and running through the desert with nowhere to go. Nobody was looking for her. Then God found her by a spring, called her by name, and asked where she was headed. And she gave Him a name of her own: “You are the God who sees me.”
Notice who that came from. Not Abraham, not a king or a prophet. A runaway servant who thought she’d slipped through the cracks.
That same God sees you. He sees the effort no one thanks you for, the worry you keep to yourself, the prayer you’ve almost stopped praying. You’re not lost in the crowd to Him. He knows your name, and He knows where you’re headed.
So today, when you feel unseen, remember Hagar. God noticed her in a desert. He notices you right where you are.
Ask Yourself:
Where in my life do I feel unseen right now, and what would change if I believed God sees it?
Who around me might be feeling invisible today, and how can I let them know they’re noticed?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Father,
Thank You for seeing me. When I feel overlooked, or like nobody notices what I’m carrying, You know exactly where I am, and that’s enough to keep me going.
Forgive me for the times I’ve felt invisible and pulled away from You, when Your eyes were on me the whole time. So today, when I start to feel unseen, remind me that You found Hagar in a desert, and You haven’t lost sight of me either.
Thank You for knowing my name.
