📖 Verse of the Day

“I will give thanks to You, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonderful deeds.”
Reflection:
Gratitude isn’t always easy. On some days, the reasons to thank God are everywhere. On others, when you’re tired or hurting, you look at your life and think, I don’t even know where to start.
David gives us a simple place to begin. He doesn’t wait until he feels thankful. He makes a choice: “I will give thanks to You, Lord, with all my heart.” And he knew hard days. In this same psalm, he calls the Lord “a stronghold in times of trouble.”
Wholehearted thanks is less about having a perfect life and more about having a practiced memory. It looks back and names the ways God came through: the friend He sent at just the right time, the strength He gave when yours ran out, the peace you still can’t explain.
The more you remember, the more you see that He was carrying you all along. So today, you don’t have to pretend everything is easy. You can be honest about the hard and still say, Lord, I remember what You’ve done, and with all my heart, I thank You.
Ask Yourself:
What’s one way God has carried me that I’ve forgotten to thank Him for?
How could remembering His past faithfulness change how I face today?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Dear Father,
When my heart is heavy, it’s hard to find the words to thank You. But when I stop and remember, my heart fills up.
Thank You for showing up when I needed You most, and for carrying me in ways I didn’t even notice at the time. Thank You for the prayers You answered, and for holding me close through the ones I’m still praying.
I could never tell of all You’ve done for me, Lord, but with all my heart, thank You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
