📖 Verse of the Day
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”
Reflection:
Most of us know the quiet math of worry. We add up what’s in front of us and wonder if there will be enough: enough money, enough strength, enough patience for everyone counting on us.
Paul knew that math well. He had often gone without. So when friends sent him a gift, he wrote back with a promise: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”
Paul could say “my God” because he had watched Him provide in every lean season. He is your God too. And He doesn’t meet your needs according to what’s in your account. He meets them according to what’s in His.
So whatever you need today, a little more money, a little more strength, or a little more peace, bring it to Him. You’re not asking a God who is running low. He has never run out, and He won’t start with you.
Ask Yourself:
What do I need most today, and have I honestly brought it to God?
Who could I help in a small way today, the way Paul’s friends helped him?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Dear Lord,
Thank You that You know every need I have before I say a word. Nothing I face today is too big for You, and nothing is too small for You to care about.
When I catch myself doing the quiet math of worry, help me turn it into prayer instead. Give me what I need for today, and eyes to see all You’ve already given.
And let me be part of how You care for someone else.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🧠 Trivia of the Day
When it was time to pay the temple tax, Jesus sent one of His disciples to go fishing. He said the first fish would have a coin in its mouth, enough to pay for both of them. Who was that disciple?
