📖 Verse of the Day

Reflection:

Is there a door somewhere in your life you’re no longer sure you’re welcome at? A friendship that went quiet. A version of yourself you’re not proud of. And if we’re honest, sometimes we wonder if God’s door is like that too.

Jesus answers that wondering with one word: never. “Whoever comes to me I will never drive away.” Not “whoever has it together.” Not “whoever hasn’t failed lately.” Whoever comes. The only thing you have to bring is yourself.

And He said it to a crowd that would be arguing with Him before the day was over. He knew exactly who they were, and He knows exactly who you are. You don’t have to clean yourself up first or wait for a better week. The door is open, and He’s glad you came.

So come. Come tired, come thankful, come with the thing you’ve been avoiding. You’ll find Jesus exactly where He promised to be: arms open, with no intention of ever letting you go.

Ask Yourself:

• What have I been keeping back from Jesus because I felt I had to fix it first?

• How would this week look if I truly believed He will never turn me away?

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Jesus, who promised that whoever comes to Him will never be turned away. I need that promise, because some days I’m not sure You’d want me. But today I’m choosing to believe You do.

Forgive me for the times I’ve stayed away until I felt good enough, when You never asked me to. So here I am, all of me, the parts I’m proud of and the parts I’d rather hide.

Keep me close, and thank You for never letting me go.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
