🌞 Good morning,
Today, let's discover the freedom that comes when we make more room for Jesus in our lives.

Together With The Voice of the Martyrs
Spend 40 days on the frontlines with persecuted Christians.
A woman who said six months in a Chinese prison was “a wonderful time.”
An Iraqi pastor who praised God just eight days after assassins’ bullets ripped into his flesh.
A former drug addict turned evangelist who used a blank notebook to recreate as much of the Bible as he could from memory while imprisoned.
These are just a few of the persecuted Christians you’ll meet in When Faith Is Forbidden. Their stories will encourage and challenge you as you live faithfully for Jesus on the sometimes-difficult path to our heavenly home.
📖 Verse of the Day

“He must become greater; I must become less.”
Reflection:
It’s hard to choose less in a world that screams “more.” To step back when every instinct says “forward.” To cheer for someone else when it could have been you. Yet John the Baptist, at the peak of his ministry, did just that, and found joy in it.
Imagine your life’s work, everything you’ve poured yourself into, slowly passing into someone else’s hands. That was John’s moment. His disciples came to him with the news: everyone was now going to Jesus.
But John? He was overjoyed. He said he was like the friend at a wedding who is full of joy just to hear the bridegroom’s voice. “That joy is mine,” he told them, “and it is now complete.”
Maybe you know a season like that, when a role you loved now belongs to someone else, or the people you care for need you less than they used to. It can feel like becoming less. But you are never less to God.
So when life asks you to step back, let it be a step closer to Jesus. That’s where John found his joy, and it’s still waiting there for you.
Ask Yourself:
Where is God asking me to step back, and could it be a step closer to Him?
What would it look like to find my joy in Jesus rather than in being needed or noticed?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Dear Father,
It isn’t always easy to step back and let someone else go first. Sometimes I hold on to my place, my plans and my way of doing things. Thank You that I never have to be at the center to be completely loved by You.
When it’s my turn to take a back seat, help me listen for Your voice the way John did, and find my joy there. Be greater in me, Lord. I’d rather have more of You than more of anything else, because with You, my joy is complete.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
🖋 Quote of the Day
“Humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less.”

🎵 Song of the Day
“Less Like Me” by Zach Williams
Let today’s song remind you of the beauty of surrendering to Christ and becoming more like Him. As you listen, reflect on how you can decrease so that He may increase in your life.
