📖 Verse of the Day

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

Reflection:

Jeremiah 31:3 was first spoken to people who had wandered and felt the weight of it. If anyone could have believed God was finally done with them, it was them. Yet into that story, God speaks:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

Everlasting means His love didn’t begin when you started taking Him seriously, and it won’t end the next time you fall short. It reaches farther back than your first breath and farther ahead than your last. His love doesn’t rise and fall with your good days and bad days; it’s steady because He is steady.

And here’s what cuts through the noise: He doesn’t pull you back by shaming you.

Shame says, “You’ve gone too far.”
Regret says, “You should know better by now.”
Fear whispers, “Maybe this time you’ve finally ruined it.”

But God says, “My heart is set on you, and I’m still drawing you near with kindness—not condemnation.”

Whether you feel close to Him today or a million miles away, this has not changed: you are loved, right now, with an everlasting love.

Ask Yourself:

  • Which voice has been louder in my heart lately—shame, regret, fear, or God’s voice of everlasting love?

  • What is one simple way I can remind my heart today that His kindness is drawing me, not pushing me away?

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Father,

Thank You that Your love for me is everlasting—steadier than my feelings and stronger than my failures. You see the parts of my story I’d rather hide, the moments I’ve pulled away, and the doubts I still carry, yet You keep drawing me with kindness, not shame.

Today, help me stop trying to earn what You already give so freely. When fear or regret speak louder than Your truth, quiet them. Let the certainty of Your everlasting love shape how I think, respond, and love others today.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🖋 Quote of the Day

“There is nothing you can do to make God love you more. There is nothing you can do to make God love you less. His love is unconditional, impartial, everlasting, infinite, perfect.”

— Richard C. Halverson
