✝️ Reach Behind Prison Walls with God’s Word
Every day, men and women behind bars open God’s Word looking for the same thing you do — hope, comfort, and the reminder that they are loved and not forgotten.
For many of them, a Bible is hard to come by. Prison Fellowship is working to change that, placing God’s Word into the hands of incarcerated men and women across the country.
Your gift today puts Scripture into the hands of someone who will read it, hold on to it, and let it speak to them in one of the hardest seasons of their life.
📖 Verse of the Day

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
Reflection:
Sometimes the hardest words to say are “I don’t know.” We can care deeply and still be unsure what to do: how to answer someone, which commitment to make, or when helping means stepping back. James gives us somewhere to bring that uncertainty. Ask God. He gives wisdom generously, “without finding fault.” You don’t have to hide what you haven’t figured out. Your need for guidance is the very reason He invites you to come.
And wisdom is more than knowing what happens next. It helps us recognize what is right, loving, and faithful in the life we actually have. As we pray, we can open Scripture, listen to wise counsel, and become willing to change our minds. God’s guidance may challenge our first choice, but His generosity gives us courage to listen. Today, you don’t have to know everything to walk wisely with God. You can begin by asking.
Ask Yourself:
What decision or conversation could I bring to God with a simple request for wisdom?
Am I willing to receive wise counsel, even when it challenges my first choice?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Gracious Father,
I don’t always know what to do, but I’m thankful I can ask You. You know the people I love and the choices before me. Please give me wisdom to do what is right, not simply what is easiest.
Help me recognize Your truth in Scripture and receive good counsel with humility. Slow my hurried answers, soften my stubbornness, and teach me to listen. Thank You for being generous with me as I learn.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
