🙏 Verse of the Day: Ephesians 2:10

📖 Verse of the Day

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Reflection:
Ever feel like you're just taking up space—like everyone else has a grand calling while you're just… here?
I used to think “God’s handiwork” meant the headline people—missionaries, pastors, dramatic testimonies. Then I read Ephesians 2:10: Paul calls you God’s handiwork—poiēma—the root of our word poem.
You are God’s poem.
Not a rough draft. Not an accident. A careful composition that says something only your life can say. And those good works Paul mentions? God prepared them before you were born. Before you failed. Before you succeeded.
So pay attention to today. The interruption might be an invitation. The person who tests your patience may be the one God is asking you to love. The ordinary job can be an altar. And if you’re in a hard season, this may be where God is doing His deepest work in you.
You’re not waiting for purpose to arrive. You’re walking in it—here and now. Let your next small yes be the next line in the poem He’s writing through you.
Ask Yourself:
What if the interruptions in my day are actually divine appointments?
Am I so busy looking for my "big purpose" that I'm missing what God prepared for me today?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for calling me Your handiwork, even when I struggle to believe it. When I get caught up in comparing myself to others or wondering if my life matters, settle my heart and bring me back to You.
Help me notice what You've placed in my path today—the person who needs encouragement, the task I've been avoiding, the small yes that might mean everything to someone. When I'm struggling, stay close. I need You.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
🖋 Quote of the Day
“We ought not to be weary of doing little things for the love of God, who regards not the greatness of the work, but the love with which it is performed.”
