📖 Verse of the Day

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

Reflection:

Confidence can feel as fragile as morning mist—here one moment, gone with the first harsh word. But John reminds us there’s a place where it holds steady: in the presence of God.

When we pray, we’re not interrupting heaven’s schedule—we’re stepping into a conversation where our name was mentioned long before we spoke. The One who shaped the stars bends close the moment we call.

We come with stammering sentences, half-formed hopes, even requests that feel too big or too small. None of that disqualifies us. Prayer isn’t about persuading God—it’s about placing our concerns in His perfect will, the safest place in the universe.

The phrase “according to His will” isn’t a limitation but an invitation to something greater. It’s the assurance that your prayers are filtered through perfect love and flawless wisdom. It’s knowing that if you could see what He sees, you’d ask for exactly what He gives.

So exhale. Speak plainly. Ask boldly. Then rest—because heaven has heard, and whether the answer is 'yes,' 'wait,' or 'I have something better,' you can walk forward in peace, knowing you've been truly heard.

Ask Yourself:

  • What am I holding back in prayer because it feels too messy or impossible?

  • How would trusting God’s will reshape today’s conversation with Him?

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Dear Father,

In those quiet moments when my prayers feel like whispers lost in the dark, thank You for hearing every word. When doubt creeps in and confidence slips away, thank You for drawing near anyway.

I bring You my half-formed hopes and deepest longings—not because I have the right words, but because You have the perfect heart. When answers come wrapped differently than I expected, help me trust that Your wisdom flows from a love that sees everything.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
