📖 Verse of the Day

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”
Reflection:
Every line of this verse describes Someone we know and love. Wherever it says “love,” His name fits perfectly. Jesus is patient. Jesus is kind. He does not envy, He does not boast, He is not proud.
He lived every word. He was patient with Peter, who loved Him with all his heart and still let Him down. And on His last night, His friends argued over which of them was the greatest. Jesus knelt down and washed their feet.
He is still the same Jesus today, and this is how He loves you. He is patient with you when you stumble and kind to you when you’re hurting. He has never once looked down on you, and He never will.
And the more we let Him love us like this, the more it starts to show: a softer word, a little more patience, a kindness no one expected. The love in this verse has a name, and He knows yours.
Ask Yourself:
Where have I seen Jesus be patient and kind with me?
Who in my life could use that same patience and kindness from me today?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Lord Jesus,
When I think about how You love me, I’m amazed all over again. Thank You for being so patient with me as I learn and grow, and so kind to me in ways I don’t always notice.
I want to love others like that, too. Please help me begin with the people closest to me, especially when I’m tired or in a hurry.
I’m so grateful to be Yours.
In Your precious name, Amen.
🖋 Quote of the Day
“We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope.”
